Home page: Information Systems and Databases Group

by annika

This is the home page of the research group for Information Systems and Databases at the Department of Computer Science at the University of Waikato. Our research group was established at the start of 2004 and is the department's youngest group.

Most of the teaching that is done by the group is in the database area (especially COMP329), with advanced courses in information systems. The research has a stronger focus on Information Systems.

We specialise in Event Notification Services, Context-aware mobile Services, Location-based Services, and Semantic Web. Our current and previous projects can be found in the research projects section.

There are student project available. Brief descriptions can be found in the Open Projects section. Please contact us for more details.
